Under 16 Hurling Championship

Dicksboro 0-18 James Stephens 1-13

The Dicksboro U16’s faced off against old foes James Stephens in the County Semi-Final on Saturday afternoon. In what proved to be a tight and tense affair it was the Boro men who eventually emerged victorious by two points. The Boro pretty much lead from start to finish and by the midway point of the second half seemed to have the game well under their control leading by five points but the Village rallied and brought it back to two with only moments left. Yet with their backs to the wall the Boro held firm to claim an excellent victory and a County final spot. FT Score Dicksboro 0-18 James Stephens 1-13.
