Following another hugely successful and well-supported event in 2025, Dicksboro GAA & Camogie Club is delighted to announce the return of its Annual Golf Classic for 2026.

Widely regarded as one of the club’s most popular and high-profile fundraisers, the Golf Classic will once again take place at the excellent Kilkenny Golf Club on Friday, July 17th, 2026, with additional tee times available on Thursday afternoon, July 16th to meet demand.  

Building on the momentum of last year’s event — which attracted strong participation from members, supporters, local businesses, and visitors — the 2026 edition promises another outstanding day of competitive golf and top-class hospitality.

Teams of four can enter this year’s competition for €250 per team, with the format expected to follow the ever-popular team competition style that has made the event so enjoyable and competitive in recent years. The day will conclude with dinner and prize presentations, ensuring a great social occasion for all involved.  

A key part of Dicksboro’s ongoing fundraising programme, the Golf Classic plays an important role in supporting the club’s continued development and facilities. The club is once again calling on its wide network — including members, former players, parents, and friends — to support the event by entering a team or getting involved through sponsorship.

There are also excellent opportunities for local businesses to support the day, with sponsorship packages available that offer strong visibility both on the course and in the clubhouse.
